It's e-Awards time again!
Time really flies... it's the 3rd year of this mega entertainment event!
I've been to the first two... it's really AWESOME.
The first one in 2009 featured my fav, Aska Yang (杨宗纬)! I've been supporting him since the One Million Star days and although that was the last time he came here, it feels like yesterday....
Also, the star-studded line up of Cheer Chan (陈琦贞), Stefanie Sun (孙燕姿) and Show Luo (罗志祥) is simply one of the most memorable events I've ever attended!
The programme line up for 2010 was also very good. Some of Singapore's very best indie & mainstream artistes, such as Tay Kewei, Olivia Ong, Tanya Chua and JJ Lin, really brightened up the show to a great extent. Not to forget the screaming fans of Korean Boy Group, SHINee. Plus, Eason Chan's "医神"-style which never fails to mesmerize.
This year, the guest list featured some heavyweights - the 'diva' of Singapore Pop, KIT CHAN! She's no doubt the queen in the Singapore Music Scene. Her new album, which features some of the re-renditions of classic pop hits, is shuffling in my Walkman... no doubt, her breathtaking vocals will definitely set a benchmark for myself, as well as for the industry.
I'm certainly looking forward to Tay Kewei & Serene Koong's performances too. They're really talented and I really hope to see what they've installed for us this time round!
Well, e-Awards is not only an entertainment extravaganza, but also a good gathering of musical talents from all over Asia! After 2 successful runs, I hope this time, in the Indoor Stadium, it'll be yet another spectacular showcase of music and entertainment.
I really hope to go and cheer the local artistes on! Not to forget regional acts such as Anthony Neely, Alien Huang & Se7en! (I guarantee girls will scream and rock the stadium down...)
